Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Oche Manager collects, why, and your rights. Oche Manager is a trading name of Alexander James Wells, a sole trader in the UK, who is the data controller. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (registration number CSN3425825).
What we collect
- Secretaries and captains: name, email address, phone number (if you add it) and a password (stored securely, never in plain text).
- League data: teams, venues and addresses, player names, fixtures, scores and stats entered by secretaries and captains.
- Payments: handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep a record of your plan and subscription status.
- Technical data: basic logs such as IP address, used to keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
- Messages: anything you send to our support team or the help assistant.
Why we use it
- To provide the service and run your league (contract).
- To take payment and manage subscriptions (contract, and legal duty to keep accounts).
- To send service emails such as invites, password resets, results to approve and payment problems (contract).
- To keep the site secure, fix problems and answer support requests (legitimate interests).
We do not sell your data and we do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them.
Who we share it with
We use trusted providers to run the service: MilesWeb (hosting), Stripe (payments), Brevo (sending email), Cloudflare (DNS and incoming email), Google (AI features, only the league information needed to write a round-up or answer a help question), and OpenStreetMap (venue address look-up, only the address text you search for). Team and player names also appear on your public league pages, which are visible to anyone with the link. League secretaries can see the details of their own league’s teams and captains. Contact details are shown to opposing captains only if the secretary switches that on.
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use approved safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and league data while your account is open. If you close it, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 90 days, except records we must keep for tax and accounting (up to 6 years).
Cookies
We use only the cookies needed to keep you logged in and secure the site.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, delete or export your personal data, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email [email protected] and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Players’ details
If you are a player in a league and want your name removed or corrected, ask your league secretary first, or contact us and we will help.
Changes
We may update this policy and will note the date at the top.
